IP Telephony Solutions

What is IP Telephony? Put simply, IP Telephony (also known as VoIP) transmits voice over a data network (for example via your broadband connection) rather than the traditional analogue phone line. The call sounds exactly as it does on traditional analogue lines, and your company can benefit from improved call management, total flexibility with phone numbers, and greatly lowered call costs.

We offer two types of IP Telephony; connectivity-only solutions, and hosted solutions. Regardless of the type you choose, you will benefit from reduced line rental and call costs, with free calls within and between all your offices, and indeed any other company on our IP Telephony network. You can keep your existing numbers, and our solutions are infinitely scaleable in line with the growth of your company.

Business Mobile

With seamless coverage and competitive rates, our Mobile product is the perfect mobility solution. We offer all the benefits of a bundled tariff, without the bundle. Regardless of the type of call, you pay one fixed rate per minute. This rate also applies to calling voicemail and standard text messages.

The service is incredibly resilient, with 3 major networks accessed seamlessly from the same device. It also offers cost-effective business class email, mobile broadband (up to 2.8MBps), and VoIP capability to link into our IP Telephony services. Keep your existing phones and numbers, or choose a brand new handset.

We also have a piece of software called Crosslink. This is a unique service for companies making a large number of international calls from mobiles, which significantly reduces the costs of these calls by routing them over our fixed line network. It is simple to implement and, as it is an automatic service (it runs silently within the phone, kicking in when an international number is dialled), it is extremely easy to use. There is no need to change your network provider or contract, you simply pay a one-off connection charge, and a small monthly fee. So even if you are happy with your current mobile provider, you can still benefit from the Crosslink service.

Incoming Call Routing Solutions

Our Inbound product is the answer to your incoming call routing problems. Via an online portal, you can change the UK fixed line/mobile destination that your inbound number is pointing to, and there is also the option of implementing additional call routing features, such as call diverts according to the time of day or day of week.

This allows you to maximise the number of inbound calls received, and to handle them with increased efficiency, thus enhancing your customer service. You can also generate a national image via an 08/03 number (find out which numbers are right for your business with the Number Wizard (link) or a local presence with a geographic number. The online monitoring makes it easy to measure advertising ROI.
